National Level Poster Competition for UG Engineering Students (17th April 2021)

Silicon Technodium 2021


Silicon Institute of Technology is planning to host a National Level poster competition for undergraduate engineering students in association with IEEE Student Chapter, CSI Student Chapter, and ISTE Student Chapter on 17.04.2021.

Through this event, the organization aims to provide the students a national platform to showcase their knowledge and to garner interest in these young minds to explore a career in research and development. Owing to situations arising out of the global Covid-19 outbreak, it has been decided to hold this poster competition on a virtual platform using a zoom interface.

Last Date for registration and submission of abstract and short paper13 March 2021 Saturday
Evaluation and notification to the shortlisted candidates27 March 2021 Saturday
Call for poster submission and recorded Video03 April 2021 Saturday
Evaluation and notification to the shortlisted candidates for the final round10 April 2021 Saturday

Judgement Criteria for final round:

Originality & Creativity40%
Presentation of Poster30%

The work will be judged by an expert committee based on the criteria, mentioned aside.

Registration Process:

POINTS TO REMEMBER DURING REGISTRATION

Evaluation Procedure

Round 1 :
Based on the received abstracts and short paper (maximum three pages, as per the prescribed format), the shortlisted participants will be notified via registered email and the portal.

Round 2 :
Shortlisted participants should uplaod their proposed work in form of a poster along with their recorded video as per the prescribed format.

Final :
Based on the poster and a recorded video received, the shortlisted participants from Round 2 will be called for a final presentation in virtual mode using the zoom interface in front of the expert committee.

Note :
The winners will be declared by the expert committee at the end of the competition.

Registration and Submission Process

1. Mandatory to upload University / Institute Identity Card or College Authorization Letter, duly signed by Director / Principal / HOD.

2. Registration Fees for each entry is Rs 200/-

3. A group or an individual can apply in maximum two entries
