Monthly Emolument:	Rs. 31,000/- + 8% HRA (for first two years) Rs. 35,000/- + 8% HRA (for 3rd year)
Essential Qualification:	M.Tech./M.E. Degree in Mechanical /Electrical/Instrumentation/Electronics or equivalent streams in relevant areas with first class. Preference will be given to qualified GATE/NET score.
Desirable Qualification:	Good academic record and knowledge in the relevant area (system integration, control system, robotics, sensors and actuators). Preference will be given to the candidate having related experience in the field of robotics with knowledge of control system, Robot Operating System, Gazebo, C, Python.
Job Role and Skill Requirements:	● Design and fabrication of unmanned underwater vehicle. ● Integration of various sensors and actuators ● Development of guidance control algorithm in simulation and its validation ● Development of path-planning algorithms to survey a given region.

Candidates must note the following points:

1. Selection committee of Thapar University reserves the right to fix suitable criteria for short- listing of
   eligible candidates.
2. The upper age limit for JRF shall be 28 years. Age relaxation: upper age limit is relax able up-to 5
   years for SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically handicapped candidates.
3. Candidates will be short listed for the interview based on merit and experience of the available
   candidates. Decision of selection committee will be final. The date and time of interview will be
   informed by email only.
4. No TA/DA will be given to the candidates called for the interview.
5. Appointment will be contractual in nature and as per Institute terms and condition.
6. The fellowship will be offered initially for a period of one year, which can be extended further for
   one more year depending on the performance evaluation by committee.
